Submit an original, unpublished short story between 1500-2500 words for the Mystery/Thriller genre.

DigiWriting has partnered with Blue Moon Publishers and One More Story Games to support indie authors in A Mystery Short Story competition titled the Secret Story. Enter the writing contest to grab your chance at valuable prizes that will benefit your writing career. Of the entires, twenty (20) selected submissions that make it to the short list will receive publication in the Secret Story anthology.
As well, these twenty selected writers will receive a free one-year membership to One More Story Games to showcase their work, valued at $100. One More Story Games is an emerging interactive gaming platform, providing a virtual space for both readers and writers to thrive. Mystery writers create the intricate stories played by users, ultimately providing authors the opportunity to be published to a worldwide audience!
Prizes worth $1,500:
In addition to the publication opportunity, winners will receive a publicity consultation and the grand prize winner will be awarded a customized publicity package, valued at $1,500. Prizes are not limited to the short story submitted to this contest. Prizes may be used for works previously completed by the winning writer, or for works that are currently in progress. These prizes can be invaluable in further launching your writing career!
Eligibility:
Writers of all citizenships may enter the contest. Stories must be unpublished and original works, written in English. Writers may send multiple submissions to this contest. Writers under the age of 18 must provide parental or guardian consent.

Submission Cost:
A fee of $20.00 CAD (taxes included) is required with your submission. This non-refundable fee covers the administrative costs of the competition.
