Submit Your Original Short Story for a Chance to Present at the Stratford Writers Festival!
Call for Submissions!
The Rotary Club of Stratford has launched a short story contest and is calling for your submissions of original, unpublished short stories between 1500-2500 words. This contest is open to ANY genre!
The winners will be announced during the Stratford Writers Festival on October 20-22, 2017.
Up to $500 in Prizes!
There are two categories in which you can submit your story: Teen (Age 19 and under) and Adult (Age 20 and over)
Winners will receive the following prizes:
19 and under / Teen:
- First: $300
- Second: $200
- Third: $100
3 Honourable Mentions
20 and over / Adult:
- First: $500
- Second: $250
- Third: $100

Eligibility
Writers of all citizenships may enter the contest and may submit multiple submissions. Writers under the age of 19 must provide parental or guardian consent.

This contest is FREE to enter.
