Upcoming Free Little Library Fundraiser part of the Stratford Writers Festival
More Free Little Libraries will soon be a part of Stratford’s literary landscape! Planned in conjunction with the inaugural DigiWriting Stratford Writers Festival, Gallery Stratford is launching the upcoming Little “Art” Library fundraiser on October 23! DigiWriting has asked publishers to contribute new books so there will also be items to fill your little library. This event, also sponsored by Small-Mart General Merchandise and many culinary destinations in Stratford, makes it an ideal time to sample food and art, and find a unique little library for your front lawn!
Artists Contribute Designs
Local artists have donated their time and craft in creating one-of-a-kind designs for each free little library in this fundraiser. You can browse the selections of creative and whimsical creations on Sunday and choose a library that suits your home.
Little Art Library Fundraiser
This initiative will give you the opportunity to support Gallery Stratford’s education and exhibition programs and take home one of 50 artist-designed Little Art Libraries with a family ticket purchase of $125.
The fundraiser will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 4–7 p.m at Gallery Stratford, 54 Romeo Street S.
If you want to join in the fun but don’t want a Free Little Library, the suggested family donation is $25.
