Short Story Contest: Romancing the Story

DigiWriting and Blue Moon Publishers are launching a joint Short Story Contest to authors worldwide.

Submit your original, unpublished romance short story between 1500-2000 words.

DigiWriting and Blue Moon Publishers are committed to supporting the voices of independent authors. This exciting and invaluable contest is an ideal opportunity for writers looking for publication.

Twenty (20) selected submissions will be compiled into a short list that will be published in the Romancing the Story anthology. This anthology will be promoted by DigiWriting, and will be available to professional reviewers, readers, booksellers and librarians. This will be excellent exposure for all your hard work, and we want to share your dream.

Prizes

From the short list, three (3) winners will be selected. Digiwriting will be awarding the following exciting prizes to the selected winners:

Prizes are not limited to the short story submitted to this contest. Under DigiWriting’s discretion, prizes may be used for works previously completed by the winning writer, or for works that are currently in progress. These prizes can be invaluable in further launching your writing career!

Eligibility 

Writers of all citizenships may enter the contest.  Stories must be unpublished and original works, written in English.  Writers must be at least 18 years of age and may send multiple submissions to this contest.

Cost

A fee of $20.00 CAD (taxes included) is required with each submission. This non-refundable fee covers the administrative costs of the competition.
